Liverpool came up against Crystal Palace at Anfield last week. Winger Mohamed Salah started for the Reds in the aforementioned Premier League fixture.
During the second half of the match, the Egyptian international showed his worth from a defensive point of view.
Salah managed to hold his nerve and stop Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha from crossing the ball into the box.
The 29-year-old did have a bit of help from teammate James Milner in terms of stopping Zaha. But, Salah was the key reason why the 28-year-old was not able to cause any danger.
Salah is a forward by trade. However, the footage below, which has been provided by Premier League TV, highlights that the Egyptian is a capable defender.
Liverpool defeated Crystal Palace 3-0.
