Speaking after their Premier League match against Chelsea on Sunday afternoon, stand-in Manchester United manager Michael Carrick remains adamant that the Red Devils can still have a successful season, despite their poor recent form.

United, who dismissed former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last week, were in action against league leaders Chelsea in their first domestic match since the Norwegian departed.
