Enzo Maresca was spotted encouraging the home fans today when there was a lull in the game, and afterwards he was asked whether he wanted to hear more from the support at Stamford Bridge.

Whether just through sheer diplomacy or because he really believed it, Maresca insisted he thought the support today was “unbelievable.”

It did lead to another question though – why our home form hasn’t been as good as our away form this season. We drew with Forest today, with Palace in the game before that, and lost to Man City on the opening day. Our only win was last week against Brighton.

Maresca brushed aside that issue, suggesting it was just a coincidence – but we did see similar issues last year with Mauricio Pochettino in charge. It’s something to keep an eye on.
