Video: Luca Connell reflects on MOTM debut for Queen’s Park

Luca Connell spoke to the Queen’s Park media team after he won MOTM in the 3-0 victory over Stranraer. Connell, 19, joined on a loan from Celtic until the end of the season and made an instant impact on his first start at Hampden.

Connell’s weighted free-kick was met by Lee Kilday to give Ray McKinnon’s side the lead. Connell has been tipped for a Celtic breakthrough since joining from Bolton Wanderers in 2019.

Hopefully Connell will be able to use this opportunity to gain first team exposure ahead of the new season. The Ireland U19 midfielder will be keen to impress the incoming Celtic manager, whoever that may be.
