Watch as Manuel Locatelli hits a well-taken volley to give Juventus the lead against Roma, making him the first Italian to score for the Bianconeri in Serie A in 2025.

Pierre Kalulu’s cross was only half-cleared by Zeki Celik to the edge of the D, where Locatelli did not hesitate thumping the volley into the ground, bouncing it into the far bottom corner.

This was the first goal that Roma had conceded in Serie A since the 2-1 victory over Como on March 2, followed by three consecutive clean sheets.

Notably, Juventus had not scored with an Italian player yet in the league during 2025.

The most recent was Federico Gatti during the 2-2 draw with Venezia on December 14.

It should not be entirely surprising, as Locatelli has form at the Stadio Olimpico, also scoring against Roma here when Juventus won a 4-3 thriller in January 2022.
