Over the last few weeks, FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta and manager Xavi Hernández have discussed the possibility of Lionel Messi returning to the Spanish club next summer.
Messi signed a two-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain, with an option for a third. However, the 35-year-old reportedly wants to focus on the FIFA World Cup in November, which is likely his last tournament.
