Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has explained that he has no say in whether or not the club dips into the transfer market to improve his squad this month.

Klopp says that the transfer business in the January transfer window is out of his control as it is down to the higher-ups at the club. Liverpool have been left with a lack of options in the centre-back position following injuries to Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez this season, with Jordan Henderson and Fabinho having to fill in at the back at times to cover for their injuries.

Football Daily shared the clip on Twitter, Klopp explained why he is unable to bolster his squad in the current transfer window.
