Former Chelsea and Tottenham defender Jason Cundy claims that Liverpool are missing Diogo Jota more than any other injured player at the moment.
Cundy claims that Jota added something different to the Liverpool attack to give them a different option in the final third and says he is currently their biggest loss, following the 0-0 draw with Manchester United in the Premier League at the weekend.
He goes on to add that Firmino was not at his best against United and that his lack of form could be attributed to fatigue. Without Jota available to Jurgen Klopp, Firmino has fewer chances to be rested with all key games Liverpool are playing. Cundy also shared his concerns about the sharpness of the Liverpool squad as a whole, pointing out Salah in particular as a player who did not look like his usual self.
TalkSport shared the clip on Twitter, with Cundy offering his thoughts on the state of Liverpool’s attack at the moment.
