Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has played his final final for the club, and after the game he was asked about his future.
“Chelsea have been great to me and I’ve been great to Chelsea” the defender said, insisting that the sanctions had not been a factor, and pointing to the fact that a negotiation has two members.

He’s basically saying the club didn’t offer him enough, and in saying he’s been great for the club, he’s clearly drawing a line under it all and trying to head off any suggestions that he owed them any further loyalty.
