Over the years, there has been some sensational performances from those in red; the type of performances that can make a season, decide a game. YouTube channel Anfield Legend has put a video together of the greatest individual Liverpool performances with several hat-tricks, from Robbie Fowler’s rapid treble, to Steven Gerrard’s Merseyside Derby match ball.

There has been some incredible hat-tricks, but our favourite has to be Luis Suarez’s third against Norwich City (13:19). The Uruguayan netted trebles against the Canaries in the 2011/12 season, the 12/13 season and the 13/14 season.

The three goals in the 13/14 season were particularly impressive, with the first coming courtesy of a looping half-volley before the second found the net from close range and the third to seal the match ball arrived in scintillating style as Suarez flicked the ball past the Norwich defender before striking on the half-volley into the bottom corner.
