Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has dropped a teasing Chelsea transfer update for the final few days of the transfer window this weekend.

The window shuts next weekend with less than a week now remaining for clubs to tie up some late business and get some deals done.

Chelsea have been flirting with a move to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen all summer but nothing has yet developed. But Romano has teased that this is one for the final days of the window in his latest set of YouTube updates last night.

As you can see above, Romano said:

“Chelsea are exploring opportunities for a striker. Forget about Victor Osimhen now, he’s one for the final days of the window. Let’s see if Chelsea can find a way.”

Chelsea fans certainly won’t be forgetting about Osimhen after a teasing update like that. But it also still feels like too much of a dream for many.
