Diogo Jota continued his exceptional start to life at Liverpool on Sunday as he scored in the 3-0 win over Leicester in the Premier League.
The Portuguese forward got on the end of a superb cross from Andy Robertson to nod the ball past Kasper Schmeichel and make it 2-0 in the first half. The build-up to the goal, however, was just as good as Liverpool played 30 passes leading up to the strike.
Liverpool’s official Twitter account shared the move in its full glory, as Liverpool worked their way through Leicester’s team and doubled the score at the time.
Since his move from Wolves in the summer, Jota has scored eight goals in six starts for Liverpool across the Premier League and Champions League this season. This is along with three goals and two assists in three starts for Portugal whilst on international duty, showing that he is proving his worth for both club and country.
