Yesterday, the owner of Liverpool Football Club, John W. Henry, apologised for signing the club up for the European Super League.

The Reds have now withdrawn from the competition.

However, before Henry’s apology was released, he refused to answer any questions from a BBC reporter in the streets of Boston.

We could understand why Henry would rather apologise on his own time. It allows him to prepare a speech.

The fact that Henry ignored the BBC reporter does highlight that he was not prepared to be bombarded with questions about a sensitive topic, which we can understand.

We are grateful that Henry has apologised. But, we will never forget what he did.
