In 2017, Steven Gerrard was appointed as the manager of Liverpool’s under-18 side.

Footage has emerged of Gerrard celebrating a goal that one of his under-18 players scored.

As you can see in the footage below, Gerrard was very animated. The celebration from Gerrard highlights that he is passionate about the entire club and not just the senior team.

In 2018, Gerrard was appointed as the senior manager of Rangers. Hopefully Gerrard’s stint with Rangers eventually leads to him getting the senior job at Anfield.

Going by the footage below, which has been provided by @Watch_LFC, Gerrard will clearly have the drive for the senior job.

That is why we hope he eventually succeeds Jurgen Klopp.
