Liverpool midfielder Fabinho has been superb as a centre-back this season.

The Brazilian has been forced to play in the heart of Liverpool’s defence because of injuries.

Fabinho is averaging a WhoScored player rating of 7.02 for the 2020-21 campaign, which highlights how well the 27-year-old has been playing.

During the second half of Liverpool’s recent Premier League against Manchester United at Anfield, Fabinho had Red Devils forward Marcus Rashford running at him.

Fabinho did not panic and forced Rashford out wide, which meant that the Englishman could not get a shot away.

That is why it was superb defending from Fabinho.
