Video: Fabinho opens up on Ajax performance

Reds midfielder and centre-back Fabinho was interviewed by V Sport after Liverpool’s Champions League clash against Ajax at the Amsterdam ArenA.

Fabinho said (00:16) that Liverpool had to remain concentrated to claim a 1-0 victory over Ajax because of the attacking threat that the Dutch side possess.

Fabinho said (00:24) that he was pleased to keep a clean sheet, also.

We believe that the clean sheet was important. Liverpool had conceded nine goals (Aston Villa and Everton) in their last two games leading up to the Ajax clash.

Hopefully Liverpool’s back four can take some confidence from the defensive performance against Ajax.
