Edouard Mendy started so well at Chelsea, and with such confidence, that it’s hard to understand how spooked he looks now.
Every since giving away the penalty against Everton he’s not looked himself, and today at 0-0 he made a mad rush from goal that almost cost us dearly.

Thankfully he was able to stick out a left foot to block Azpi’s backpass, and thankfully Thiago Silva was on hand to block the shot.
On the commentary, Jamie Carragher called it “completely stupid” from the keeper, who should “stay in his goal” unless absolutely necessary.
