Liverpool forward Diogo Jota came on as a second half substitute against Ajax in the Champions League last night.
Towards the end of the match at the Amsterdam ArenA, Jota had possession of the ball on the wing.

Jota decided to try and find Liverpool midfielder Gini Winaldum, who had made a run in behind Ajax’s defence.
Jota picked out Wijnaldum with a wonderful pass, but the Dutchman’s finish was not good enough to beat Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana.
Despite that being the case, we wanted to write about Jota’s pass, as it was superb.
Jota had to bend the ball in behind the Ajax defence, which is why it was such a good pass. Not every player in world football is capable of such a pass.
