Video: Darren Bent believes Thiago is the perfect fit for Liverpool

Former Tottenham forward and current TalkSport pundit Darren Bent claims that Thiago is perfect for Liverpool due to his passing ability.

Bent says that he is a superb addition to Liverpool’s squad as he is able to break lines, get through opposition midfield and find the star forwards in the final third.

This comes after fellow TalkSport pundit Adrian Durham blasted Thiago and Liverpool for not being the right fit, claiming that the Spaniard slows down their play. However, Bent rejects those claims as he explains why Thiago’s passing is so vital to how Liverpool play.

Thiago has played five games so far this season for Liverpool in the Premier League, which has yielded just one win for the Reds, along with three draws and a defeat.

TalkSport shared the clip on Twitter, with Bent giving his reasoning behind calling Thiago an excellent signing for Liverpool following his transfer from Bayern Munich last summer.
