Danilo Pereira is not a player that Paris Saint-Germain would typically rely on to get off shot attempts while in the opponent’s defensive third. But when the opportunity presented itself in PSG’s Ligue 1 fixture against Olympique Lyonnais, the Portuguese international made the most of his golden chance.

Pereira doubled PSG’s lead over Lyon late in the first half. Defensive miscues from Lyon hurt the side once again as a failure to clear possession out of its own penalty box allowed for Pereira to take on an unmarked shot attempt.
