Borussia Dortmund and England midfielder Jude Bellingham was asked which Three Lions player, past or present, would he like to swap shirts with.

Bellingham was tossing up between Steven Gerrard and Wayne Rooney. However, Bellingham chose Gerrard.

We can understand why Bellingham would like to swap shirts with Gerrard. The Scouser was a world-class footballer.

Gerrard scored 186 goals and registered 144 assists in 710 appearances for the Reds. Gerrard also won nine major trophies with Liverpool.

Bellingham also plays in the same position as Gerrard. Therefore, Bellingham can relate to Gerrard. Rooney on the other hand was a forward.

Gerrard is now the manager of Rangers. The 41-year-old led his side to the Scottish Premiership last season.
