Mario Balotelli scored in Adana Demirspor’s 4-2 loss against Fenerbahce on Wednesday following a tremendous mistake from the opposing keeper and pulled out another iconic goal celebration.

Balotelli levelled to score for Adana on Wednesday in an away game against Fenerbahce, in which the host eventually won 4-2.

The Italian forward made the most of a misplaced pass by goalkeeper İrfan Can Eğribayat at minute 25, collecting the ball inside the box and putting it inside an empty net.

His goal celebration caught the fans’ eye as Balo immediately sat down smiling, waiting for his teammates to join him. At some point, he also appeared to look at the poor Fenerbahce keeper, putting his hands on his head in disbelief.

Balotelli’s Adana eventually lost 4-2. Ex-Roma and Inter star Edin Dzeko got his name on the scoresheet for Fenerbahce while Leonardo Bonucci spent the entire game on the bench.
