A number of Liverpool players arrived in Austria for pre-season two weeks ago.

However, left-back Andy Robertson only joined his Liverpool teammates in Austria late last week.

Robertson was given some time off football because of his involvement in the 2020 Euros.

Robertson looked sharp during training on Sunday. As you can see in the footage below, the 27-year-old smashed the ball past goalkeeper Loris Karius during a drill.

Karius could do nothing but watch the ball hit the back of the net.

Despite the fact that Robertson is a defender, he has shown in the past that he is capable of scoring the odd goal. The left-back has scored five goals in 177 appearances for the Reds.

The footage below belongs to LFC TV (05:24).
