Carlo Ancelotti and his Real Madrid squad officially received their 36th LaLiga trophy, which was delivered to the club’s training ground on Sunday.

Ancelotti and his players posed for formal photographs with the trophy at the Ciudad Real Madrid, dressed in their matchday suits. The club have also shared a clip of captain Nacho Fernandez ceremonially lifting the trophy while being applauded by his teammates.

Real Madrid officially won the title last weekend. They put themselves within touching distance with a 3-0 victory over Cadiz, but it was Barcelona’s 4-2 loss to Girona that mathematically confirmed their final league standing.

It is Real Madrid’s 36th league title overall and the second won under the guidance of Ancelotti.

For the coach, it is the sixth league title overall of his career, adding to his four Champions League titles, four UEFA Super Cup titles, four domestic cups, six domestic Super Cups and three FIFA Club World cup titles. He also has an Intertoto cup medal from his time with Juventus.
