Former Chelsea academy graduates Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham had an emotional reunion, as they are now Milan teammates.

When the striker arrived on loan from Roma, the first door he knocked on at the team hotel was that of Tomori, who greeted him with a big hug.

It was the defender who moved to Serie A first at Milan and couldn’t wait to greet his old friend when making the transfer to Roma in 2021.

“The journey continues brother, I’m so happy for you! The grind doesn’t stop and God will crown your efforts with success. But now… we are rivals. Love you bro,” wrote Tomori.

The striker had replied with: “My family! No running away from me. Amen, love you brother. Ciao.”

Now they really are teammates again in the Rossoneri jersey, although the forward has only arrived on loan.
