Back in 2019, Liverpool came up against Barcelona in the Champions League semi-finals.

During the second leg at Anfield, Reds midfielder Fabinho clattered into Barcelona forward Luis Suarez.

The Brazilian’s tackle was deemed a foul by the referee. However, we don’t believe that Fabinho’s tackle was a foul, as he did win the ball first.

The footage below, which belongs to BT Sport, highlights that the 27-year-old won’t shy away from a tackle.

On another note, we absolutely love Fabinho. He is such a versatile player. Fabinho plays in both midfield and defence for the Reds.
