Victor Nelsson joins Roma on loan | OneFootball

Victor Nelsson has been officially announced as Roma’s newest signing.

The capital club released an official statement on their website, confirming the Dane’s loan to the Italian capital from Galatasaray.

“AS Roma is pleased to announce the signing of Victor Nelsson from Galatasaray,” reads the club statement.

“The deal has been completed as a loan with an option to buy.

Born in Denmark in 1998, the centre-back made a name for himself in his homeland, first with Nordsjaelland and then with Copenhagen. In 2021, he moved to Galatasaray, where he became one of the leaders of the Istanbul side over four seasons, making more than 100 competitive appearances.

He has chosen the number 25 jersey. After Helge Bronée, Klaus Berggreen, Simon Kjaer and Rasmus Kristensen, he will be the fifth Danish player in the club’s history.”
