Real Betis boss Manuel Pellegrini has been previewing his side’s Conference League cup final against Chelsea in Poland this evening.
The big news comes after Chelsea finally secured their qualification to play Champions League football next season on the final day of the Premier League season on Sunday.
The Blues had to win this game to secure it, and they managed a 1-0 away win against Nottingham Forest to provide scenes of celebrations amongst the Blues players and staff yesterday evening. And in by doing this, Chelsea also set a brand new record in football!
Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca was so pleased with making the Champions League that he took the opportunity to swear at all of his critics across the season by telling them all to F off!!
Chelsea have faced very poor sides so far in this competition and they have found it very easy to get to the final. All along it has been a competition that they have been clear favourites to win and should win.
But against Real Betis tonight, it will be far from easy. This is a decent side and they have a good manager who has them well organised.

Pellegrini and Enzo Maresca are good friends, but tonight they will be facing each other and both will be only thinking of one thing – lifting the trophy.
As cited by SPTC, Pellegrini said:
“It would be very easy for me to say that Chelsea are the favourites because they have more money than us, but I don’t agree. Both teams have exactly the same chances of winning.
“We don’t think they’re Goliaths. We’re going to try to win from the first minute. After the 90th, we’ll see who’s capable of doing it.”
