RMC Sport report that 4th tier side Versailles FC have contacted Paris Saint-Germain to request the use of the Parc des Princes for their Coupe de France semi-final against Nice.
Having beaten fellow National 2 side Bergerac Périgord, the side from the outskirts of Paris will be hosting the tie. They will have three options – PSG’s Parc des Princes, the Stade de France, or the Stade Charléty where Ligue 2’s Paris FC play.
The minnows’ preference is the first of the three, which is the closest geographically. Should neither of the options be possible, Nice would be prepared to host the tie instead. Versailles president Jean-Luc Arribart has stated that he does not want to “force their hand” and that PSG is a “big club with whom we want to be on good terms”.
PSG will have until Monday to give an answer to the FFF, while an answer is expected by Friday night.
