Veiga: Chelsea loanee subbed off injured in Juventus UCL decider vs. PSV

Juventus defender Renato Veiga was subbed early in the first half of a Champions League match against PSV due to a suspected muscle injury.
Chelsea loanee Renato Veiga suffered a suspected muscle strain during Juventus’ away Champions League game against PSV this evening.
The Portugal international had started his fifth game in a row for the Bianconeri but was forced to be subbed off at minute 12.

According to Amazon Prime Video, he suffered a suspected muscle strain.
Andrea Cambiaso was introduced from the bench to replace the Chelsea-owned defender, pushing Lloyd Kelly to central defence.
Tonight’s meeting at the Philips Stadion is the second leg of the Champions League knockout playoff. The Bianconeri secured a 2-1 win in Turin last week.

Veiga joined Juventus on a dry loan deal from Chelsea in the January transfer window. He has made five appearances with the Bianconeri.
