Lazio forward Vedat Muriqi is the Biancocelesti’s ninth most expensive signing of all time.

As seen on stats portal Transfermarkt’s Twitter page earlier today, the 27-year-old Kosovan forward’s €18.5 million price tag is Lazio’s ninth most expensive signing ever, ahead of stars like Ciro Immobile and Luis Alberto.

The only other current Lazio player on this list is Serbian midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who cost €18 million back in the summer of 2015. Considering that his estimated market value is around €100 million, his transfer was an incredible piece of business by the Roman club.

Topping the list is Argentinian forward Hernan Crespo, who cost €56.8 million from Parma in the summer of 2000. At the time, this deal broke the world transfer record.

Other players on the list include Gaizka Mendieta (€48m), Juan Sebastian Veron (€30m), Christian Vieri (€28.4m), Jaap Stam (€25.8m), Stefano Fiore (€25m), Claudio Lopez (€23m) and Mauro Zarate (€20.2m).
