VCF Academy set for VI LaLiga Promises Internacional in Orlando | OneFootball

Representatives from the VCF Academy will participate in the VI LaLiga Promises Internacional tournament this coming weekend, heading to Orlando, USA. A combined Infantil and Alevín side will be fielded by Valencia CF, with 6 players from each level. This move has been made in accordance with the modification to the tournament regulations, so that players born in 2009 can also enjoy this international experience -after the suspension of previous editions due to COVID-19. The club enjoyed great success in the recent XXIX LaLiga Promises Nacional competition, in which VCF Alevín A reached the final. The VCF Academy team will play in Group C, debuting on Friday June 24th against Atletico Madrid (9:30am local time). They will face CD Guadalajara later that day (11:30am). The top two teams in the group will qualify for the quarter finals on Saturday, whilst the final will be held on Sunday.
