VBL: Dominant start to the year against Osnabrück – Alihan Kösecik makes debut | OneFootball

The Black & Yellow eFootballers returned to action in the Virtual Bundesliga for the first time in 2024 on Tuesday. BVB found themselves up against VfL Osnabrück and comfortably picked up the three points.

The DFL kicked off the year by inviting all 18 clubs in the North-West Division to Cologne and held the matchday as a big offline event. Borussia Dortmund got down to business at 20:30 CET when they kicked off their first game against bottom club Osnabrück.

Dennis Malcherczyk lined up alongside Roee Feldman and the duo quickly set themselves on the path to victory, with BVB running out 5-2 winners in the end.

Alihan Kösecik made his VBL debut in the second match of the evening and started off on a winning note, achieving a convincing and comfortable 8-1 triumph.

The first half-season draws to a close with more big clashes against 1. FC Köln, Holstein Kiel and Werder Bremen next week (16 January). You can follow all the action live on Twitch from 17:00 CET.
