The first half of Chelsea’s blockbuster Premier League clash with Liverpool was a largely uneventful affair.
But right on the stroke of half-time, the Blues were reduced to 10 men when Andreas Christensen was shown a straight red card for a professional foul on Sadio Mané.
Referee Paul Tierney had to go to the pitchside monitor before making his decision, however, but VAR did its job in the end.
It’s an uphill task for Chelsea in the second half now.
