Three Leicester City stories took our eye on Tuesday afternoon. Here we briefly examine those articles and offer our opinions. First of all, Foxes manager Ruud Van Nistelrooy's King Power spending cash. There are rumours abound regarding players City would ostensibly like to sign; potential outgoings are occasionally speculated over. So, does the east Midlands team actually have a budget for signings in the January transfer window? And what did van Nistelrooy confirm to reporters about LCFC?
Meanwhile an Ex-Fox is not enjoying himself at his new side. The forward was a bit of a fan favourite on Filbert Way. That is in spite of the player in question basically underperforming overall while stationed in Leicestershire. He is actually presently performing so badly that he is actually being mocked by supporters at his new club. Which is a shame, I must say.
Last of all but not least, Wolverhampton Wanderers have been dealt a possibly huge double blow. Wolves have just sacked previous team boss Gary O'Neil prior to facing the Foxes. Usual brief 'new manager bounce' aside, the latest gaffer at Molineux might already be in trouble. Vitor Pereira may not be able to call upon two very important stars of the squad for the Leicester showdown on Sunday. Though, which Wolves pair could be sidelined?
The former City striker is having a terrible time in Spain. He's only played a mere 536 minutes for the La Liga outfit this season. Iheanacho was even targeted by his own fans versus Celta Vigo:
"The Nigerian got a chance in Sevilla’s league win over Celta Vigo yesterday and things turned ugly for the former Leicester City star.MuchoDeporte note that because of Iheanacho, the Spanish side played like they were a man down. He did not ‘compete at all’ during the game and this led to the crowd mocking the 28-year-old.The report states that ‘joking’ about Iheanacho became evident during the game and fans made their feelings known about the summer signing."
This information is definitely music to the Blue Army's collective ears. Though the funds won't be unlimited:
"Ahead of his first transfer window as manager, van Nistelrooy has said he's been told there will be cash to spend in January."
Wolves will be without attacking full back Rayan Aït-Nouri this weekend at the King Power. WWFC talisman Cunha is also facing a ban, which would likely see him out of this key relegation contest. A bonus for LCFC.
