Van Nistelrooy was right to criticise overrated Leicester star

Where to begin with Wout Faes?! I don't know where to start; a rare problem for someone as verbose and opinionated about Leicester City as myself. In my not-so-humble opinion, Faes is someone in the Foxes squad who should standout for positive reasons. He can look like such a composed centre back that it's almost as if he's unbothered. And that nonchalance along with (in the words of the great Robert De Niro) wasted talent is arguably what upsets the LCFC's Blue Army fan base most of all.
The Belgium international possesses many prerequisite skills in order to succeed. He can tackle strongly when all too infrequently in the mood. He has passing vision and the ability to execute it. Yet he underuses or misuses key attributes. The aforementioned confidence is prevalent, which can be a blessing in disguise. He isn't too comfortable with tall opponents in the air, though. But all in all, Faes should have actually become a fine City signing. He hasn't. Successful acquisitions are rare on Filbert Way these days.
However, the King Power team's manager was unimpressed with Faes recently. And rightly so! Ruud van Nistelrooy was right to criticise Faes for conceding awkwardly versus Manchester United, regardless of some supporters preferring a head coach to do so privately behind closed doors. Sometimes overpaid and underperforming athletes possibly need calling out to designate and solve issues.
Reigniting their passion in some way could ultimately help a languishing side. A handy motivational tool for gaffers is to make certain so-called elite professionals reclaim a potentially lost place. And Faes might soon find himself out of the LCFC starting lineup. Like I say, it appears that the majority of the City faithful would approve of that decision on van Nistelrooy's agenda.
"I think if Wout Faes can come across to block Hojlund going to the keeper it would have been better. The second one falls for Garnacho, falls in front of his feet and he doesn’t think twice."RvN
