There has been a change at the top at Vicarage Road as the club have parted ways with Valérien Ismaël following the club’s home defeat to Coventry City Saturday evening.
Tom Cleverly will take over as Hornets boss on an interim basis.
“The Hornets thank Valérien and his staff for their dedication and commitment,” an official club statement read. “However the club’s Board considers it an appropriate time to make a change in order to improve results.”
The defeat to Coventry City sees Watford sit in 13th place in the Championship, 13 points out of the promotion playoff spots.
