Valentino Lazaro will soon get a chance to impress again for Inter according to a report in today’s paper edition of Corriere dello Sport.
The Austrian has been limited to just 41 minutes on the park across all competitions since his arrival at the club in the Summer transfer window from Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin.
This can partly be attributed to the fact he picked up an injury soon after joining and that he took some time to get back to fitness. Danilo D’Ambrosio and Antonio Candreva’s consistent performances at right wing back have also not helped Lazaro’s cause.
Due to D’Ambrosio breaking his toe on international duty, a space has opened itself up for the 23-year-old, who should see some action during Inter’s packed schedule over the next few weeks.
The report from the Roman newspaper also goes on to state that the next few weeks will be important to Inter when it comes to gauging where they may need to look for additions in the January transfer market.
One position Inter have already decided needs strengthened is the midfield and Antonio Conte has seemingly already given club leaders the green light to pursue Manchester United’s Nemanja Matic, who could be signed in a low-cost deal.
