La Liga outfit Valencia are readying a summer move for the signature of a member of the attacking ranks at recently-relegated Leganés.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Dani Raba as the player in question.

Attacker Raba is for his part fresh off an altogether impressive individual campaign.

Despite Leganés’ collective struggles en route to being relegated back to the 2nd tier of Spanish football, the 29-year-old stood tall, to produce a haul of nine goals and six assists.

Such excellence in the face of adversity has not gone at all unnoticed across the La Liga landscape, with a number of clubs understood to be keen on Raba’s signature.

This comes ahead of the imminent expiration of his contract terms with Leganés.

And if the latest word stemming from the media on Sunday is anything to go by, then one such suitor now appear primed to pounce.

As per a report from MD:

‘Dani Raba has the approval of Valencia coach Carlos Corberán and the club’s sporting directors to strengthen the attack.’

An offer on the part of Los Che to the versatile attacker and his entourage, in turn, is expected any day now.
