With the exit of Pablo Torre almost finalised, FC Barcelona will look to sort out the future of a couple more players before starting pre-season this weekend.
Oriol Romeu, back after his loan spell at Girona, needs to find a way out while Deco & co. are also searching for solutions for Inaki Pena and Pau Victor, both of whom are surplus to requirements at the club.
Now, according to SPORT, two La Liga clubs – Valencia and Real Betis – have both shown interest in signing Inaki Pena, among several other clubs.
The 26-year-old La Masia goalkeeper has no place in the squad with new signing, Joan Garcia, and Wojciech Szczesny, after signing a new contract, being the No. 1 and No. 2, respectively.

As such, Pena is ready to move on this summer in search of regular game-time even though there is still a year left on his contract with the La Liga champions.
There had been interest from Celta Vigo in the past, but nothing came of it, leading to speculations that the Spaniard might be leaning towards a move abroad.
However, now, Valencia and Real Betis are understood to be interested in signing Pena.
Barcelona begin their preparations for the next season on Sunday, July 13, and they would prefer to find a way out for Pena before that. A contract termination appears to be the most likely path forward.
But whether the two La Liga teams are in a position to make a move before the start of the Catalans’ pre-season remains to be seen.
