According to Turkish outlet Fanatik, Beşiktaş were set to receive around €5m for Vagner Love’s return to Flamengo.

However, his agent Evandro Ferreira completely rubbished these reports.

“Every window there are rumours surrounding Vagner Love. He has speculation of the press, but he still has his existing contract with Beşiktaş.

“So far, no one has made an official proposal or anything. There’s a chance he’s going to leave, but we still have not decided where he’s going in case he really leaves. The complicated thing is always going out,” he said in an interview.

Evandro Ferreira went even further and slammed the Turkish media for publishing false reports.

“I’ve never spoken to the Turkish press. They plant news there.

“Vagner Love has two and a half years of his contract remaining at Beşiktaş and the only person that would say that he will leave is the football director himself.”
