🎮 UWCL and NWSL now available in FIFA 23 | OneFootball

EA Sports has announced that the Uefa Women’s Champions League and American National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) are now available and playable in FIFA 23.

Gamers will now be able to play as even more of Europe’s best women’s teams and players, with Juventus Women, Real Madrid Femenino, Chelsea Women, Manchester City, Olympique Lyonnais Féminin, Paris Saint-Germain Féminine, Arsenal, VfL Wolfsburg, and Eintracht Frankfurt all available in-game.

Those Champions League clubs are all now playable in Kick-Off, Tournament Mode and Head to Head season/Co-op Seasons. In-game, players will also be able to experience an authentic representation of the UWCL featuring the UWCL trophy, UWCL anthem, broadcast overlays, and ad boards.

And that’s not all, because ahead of the new season’s kick-off on 25 March, all 12 NWSL teams are also now playable in FIFA 23, along with four NWSL stadiums, authentic kits, starheads, trophies and celebrations.

With women’s international teams playable in earlier instalments of the franchise, FIFA 23 was the first game to feature the officially licensed Barclays Women’s Super League and Division 1 Arkema.

It will be interesting to see what more the franchise can deliver in terms of women’s football when its association with world football’s governing body officially ends later this year.
