Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Matt Turner has secured a season-long loan to Crystal Palace on Deadline Day.

The 30-year-old United States international made the Premier League swap after the Eagles had a spot open following Sam Johnstone’s move to Wolves.

Turner will now act as a backup goalkeeper for Dean Henderson at Selhurst Park.

Formerly of Arsenal, the USA international made 17 appearances for Forest last season.

His last in the Premier League, however, was on January 30 against the Gunners and we will look for more minutes in 2024/25.
