Horvath made 11 appearances for Nottingham Forest during the 2021/22 run, helping the side ascend to the Premier League.

"I was really impressed with him in terms of what he's done," Luton Town manager Nathan Jones said. "We were aware of him, then he went to Forest and he did well in the limited amount of time he had to play."

The goalkeeper originally joined Nottingham Forest a year ago on a free transfer from Club Brugge, where he lifted three Belgian league titles.

Internationally, Horvath has eight caps for the USMNT. He’s currently fighting for a spot on the World Cup roster, competing with Zack Steffen, Matt Turner and Sean Johnson for the main role.

The keeper last featured for the American side in the Concacaf Nations League clash against El Salvador, inspiring the USMNT to a 1-1 draw. While Berhalter previously hailed Horvath for his contributions to the team, he’s likely to take a backseat role to Turner and Steffen.
