The fastest man in the world is about to be available for your FIFA Ultimate Team.

That’s right, EA Sports are planning to add Usain Bolt to FIFA 19 if the former sprinter is handed a professional contract by the Central Coast Mariners.

Bolt is currently on trial with the Mariners, who begin the new A-League campaign against Brisbane Roar on Sunday.

The Jamaican will not be eligible for that match as he is currently only on trial with the Australian club. However, he could even be added to FIFA if he doesn’t manage to secure a professional contract.

Speaking to Fox Sports, an EA Sports source said: “If Usain is picked up by the Central Coast Mariners then he will automatically be included in the winter update or the next major update.

“But if he isn’t listed then he might be included as a free agent.”

Then came a predictable confirmation.

“Yes, he will also be the fastest player in the game.”

So, that’s that. Usain Bolt on FIFA. Who’d have thought it?

An eight-time Olympic gold medal winner, Bolt scored twice last week as he made his first Mariners start in a trial match.
