USA tour kicks off against DC United: Watch LIVE on Celtic TV | OneFootball

The Scottish Champions are Stateside and they kick off their US pre-season against MLS side, DC United at Audi Field in Washington DC this weekend.

You can tune in from 12:15am (Celtic Park time) on Sunday, July 21, with Paul Cuddihy and Peter Grant taking you through all the action from the American capital, with Gerry McCulloch pitchside for the pre-match build-up, including an interview with Celtic manager, Brendan Rodgers.

At half-time we will have a special episode of Celtic TV’s If You Know Your History presented by The Official Celtic FC Podcast host, Matthew Campbell, as he looks at a special season in Celtic’s history - the 1987/88 Centenary season.

He will then preview our next game in the US - Manchester City at Kenan Stadium in North Carolina. The game takes place at 7pm (local time) on Tuesday, July 23 in the US, which will be a midnight kick-off (Celtic Park time).

EXCLUSIVE ACCESS TO PRE-SEASON

After the trip to Washington, the Celts make their way to North Carolina to face Manchester City just three days later, when the Scottish and English Premiership champions will face off at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill.

The sides have only met competitively twice before, in the group stages of the UEFA Champions League back in 2016/17.

Finishing up the pre-season matches on Saturday, July 27 is a game against Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea at Notre Dame Stadium, Indiana.

It will be the second meeting of the sides on American soil, with the only previous encounter in Seattle during Celtic’s tour of America back in 2004.
