It is believed that Spurs are open to paying a £55m fixed fee plus £5m add-ons to acquire the services of the English player in this transfer window.

Eze’s Impressive Season In The Premier League

Eze enjoyed a decent run of form at the London club after he produced a string of impressive displays for them over the past 12 months. The English talent played in 43 matches for Crystal Palace last season, finding the back of the net on 14 occasions and picking up 11 assists in various competitions.

The 27-year-old deserves a ton of credit for averaging 3.48 shots per 90 minutes in the Premier League. He kept 27% of his attempts on target. Eze was even accurate when distributing possession in the opponent’s half after completing 74.2% of his attempted passes in the English top tier (stats via fbref.com).

His current contract at the London club will run out in the summer of 2027. Thus, Tottenham would have to make a big offer if they want to recruit Eze in this transfer period.

Eze is a good dribbler with the ball and has got the vision to create a few inviting chances for his teammates in the final third. He can strike the ball with power from long range and can chip in by scoring and creating his fair share of goals up top.

The English sensation mainly functions as an attacking midfielder but can also operate as a left-winger if asked to do so by his manager. He has already proven himself in the Premier League and would be a safe bet to succeed at a club like Tottenham.

Eze would add more goals and creativity to Spurs boss Thomas Frank’s attacking department. He has what it takes to secure a regular first-team spot at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season.

At 27, Eze is about to enter his prime, which makes him a great signing for the North London club to pull off this summer. He will also help Tottenham challenge across all fronts over the next few years.
