Lazio have reportedly been offered the services of Arsenal left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko who has become surplus to requirements.

Lazio Set for Full-Back Revamp

Upon his return to the club, Maurizio Sarri has found five full-backs at his disposal, but almost all of them are facing uncertain futures. According to La Lazio Siamo Noi, the 66-year-old would like to keep his old favourites Adam Marusic and Elseid Hysaj, while Luca Pellegrini and Manuel Lazzari are far from ‘unsellable’.

Nuno Tavares Available for the Right Price

The source adds that Nuno Tavares can leave for offers in the region of €30-35 million. As exclusively revealed by The Laziali journalist Alfredo Pedulla on Sunday, Lazio turned down a €25 million offer from Al-Hilal for the Portuguese star.

Oleksandr Zinchenko Offered to Lazio

Nevertheless, the search for new full-backs continues, and the source claims that Zinchenko is the latest player to be proposed to the Italian capital side. The 28-year-old rose to the scene during his time at Manchester City which was decorated by four Premier League medals.

In the summer of 2022, the Ukrainian made the move to Arsenal in search of additional playing time, but he currently finds himself outside of Mikel Arteta’s plans. Riccardo Calafiori and Myles Lewis-Skelly are both ahead of him in the pecking order, so he only made 15 appearances in the Premier League this season.

The Main Obstacle for Lazio

Zinchenko’s contract with the Gunners will expire in June 2026, so he should be available for a relatively affordable fee. However, his salary could represent the main hurdle, as he currently earns €5 million per year, a figure that Lazio certainly don’t intend to cover.
