There is plenty of Champions League action on Tuesday and if you missed out on the action between Ajax and Napoli – we’re sorry.
The stage was set at Johan Cruijff Arena as two of Europe’s biggest clubs, who fielded the likes of legends Johan Cruyff and Diego Maradona, went head-to-head.
And despite Ajax scoring within nine minutes inside a jam-packed stadium in Amsterdam, the Serie A leaders went on to show exactly why there are dark horses in this competition.
Napoli scored a staggering six unanswered goals to pull off a blistering comeback as fans heavily whistled the hosts.
It is the first time the Eredivisie giants have conceded four at home since 2012 (Borussia Dortmund the last to do so) and Napoli are the first to score a minimum of five goals away in Amsterdam.
Turns out Johan Cruijff ArenA isn’t quite a fortress.
