Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are all set to bid for Erling Haaland next summer, despite the forward’s huge wage demands.

Haaland is expected to leave Borussia Dortmund next summer when a €75m release clause becomes active in his contract at the Westfalenstadion, with several of Europe’s major clubs monitoring his situation ahead of a bid.

The Norway international has scored a staggering 70 goals in just 69 appearances since signing for Dortmund from Red Bull Salzburg and is set to attract offers from Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Real Madrid.

ESPN are reporting that any side interested in signing the 21-year-old will need to pay a significant sum to his representatives alongside the transfer fee, whilst Haaland will also demand a huge contract worth in excess of £500,000-a-week.

Despite those demands, he remains a priority target for the Premier League trio with Manchester United having remained in contact with the Norwegian since missing out on his signature in January 2020.

Both City and Chelsea are also expected to table offers, whilst there is further interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, alongside an approach from Madrid.
